چکیده

In this paper, the quantum theory of the infinite-component Majorana field for the fermionic tower is formulated. This study proves that the energy states with increasing spin are simply composite systems made by a bradyon and antitachyons with half-integer spin. The quantum field describing these exotic states is obtained by the infinite sum of four-spinor operators, which each operator depends on the spin and the rest mass of the bradyon in its fundamental state. The interaction between bradyontachyon, tachyon-tachyon and tachyon-luxon has also been considered and included in the total Lagrangian. The obtained theory is consistent with the CPT invariance and the spin-statistics theorem and could explain the existence of new forms of matter not predictable within the standard model.

Massless Majorana and Weyl fermions cannot be distinguished

In this note, I will demonstrate that a theory of a massless neutrino (in 3+1-dimensional quantum field theory) can be described either as a theory of a massless Weyl fermion or as a theory of a massless four-component Majorana fermion. The two formulations are indistinguishable, as they arise from exactly the same Lagrangian when expressed in terms of two-component fermions. I will also exhibi...

Bistability in the Electric Current through a Quantum-Dot Capacitively Coupled to a Charge-Qubit

We investigate the electronic transport through a single-level quantum-dot which is capacitively coupled to a charge-qubit. By employing the method of nonequilibrium Green's functions, we calculate the electric current through quantum dot at finite bias voltages. The Green's functions and self-energies of the system are calculated perturbatively and self-consistently to the second order of inte...

Overcoming the Bradyon–Tachyon Barrier

In this study, the problem of overcoming the infinite energy barrier separating the bradyonic and tachyonic realms is investigated. Making use of the Majorana equation for particles with arbitrary spin and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, it is proved that, under certain conditions of spatial confinement, quantum fluctuations allow particles with very small mass and velocity close to the s...

Quantum field components of supersymmetric multiplets

We adress the problem of Fock space representations of (free) multiplet component fiels encountered in supersymmetric quantum field theory insisting on positivity and causality. We look in detail on the scalar and Majorana components of the chiral supersymmetric multiplet. Several Fock space representations are introduced. The last section contains a short application to the supersymmetric Epst...

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE THEORY OF DIFFERENTIABLE STRUCTURES ON INFINITE INTEGRAL DOMAINS

A special class of differentiable functions on an infinite integral domain which is not a field is introduced. Some facts about these functions are established and the special case of z is studied in more detail
